Serves: 2
Ingredients
  • 2 medium apples (I used Gala, you can use whichever you like!)
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp organic coconut sugar (optional)
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 275 degrees.
  2. Meanwhile, cut apples into very thin slices, about 13-15 per apple. Then soak the slices in the water with the juice of one lemon.
  3. Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper and place a footed cooling rack on top of the parchment.
  4. Remove the apples from the water and place on paper towel. Blot dry. Place the slices on the rack.
  5. Mix the cinnamon and coconut sugar in a bowl and sprinkle lightly over all the apple slices, on both sides.
  6. Bake the slices for 40 minutes, then flip, and continue to bake for 50 more minutes.
  7. Turn the oven to "warm" setting, and let the chips continue to cook for up to 1 hour or until crispy.
Notes
Double or triple the recipe to make more chips and store them in a Tupperware container and enjoy over time!
